Are You Gonna Kiss Me or Not? – Ashley’s Story

This is where YOU tell us YOUR love stories!  You know, like how you met your honey… how you found true love after all this time… or maybe even how you finally got back together with the one that got away.  You get the idea – whatever your "happily ever after" is, we wanna hear it!!!

This week’s story is from Ashley in Missouri who writes…

Dear Kix,

The story of how I met the love of my life still blows me away. It began in July of 2011. At the time, I was dating a guy I met while in high school, but we weren’t very happy and realized we should just be friends and mutually ended it. My friend Erica said I needed to branch out and find someone who truly made me happy.  And, on July 20th, 2011, I did exactly that, and his name is Zack.  Erica, Zack, and a couple of our friends went to the fountain in Northeast KC…We were cold and wet, and Zack wrapped his arms around me to keep me warm.

A few months went by and we became inseparable! I was always sleeping over at his house…met his folks…and he met mine. And, on our one year anniversary, we gave each other promise rings. I’ve never had a man who put me above anyone else.  And, I knew from that moment on and the moment he first said “I love you,” he would be the man I’d spend the rest of my life with and one day have a family with.

As of today, on July 20th, 2013, we will be celebrating our two year anniversary together. We can’t wait to see what life has in store for us. I couldn’t be happier.

With love,
Ashley

Kix's response:

Sounds pretty hot and heavy to me, Ashley – I can't exactly get a handle on how old you are, but it feels like you're in your twenties, and if he's "the guy," you've got your whole life in front of you. I can tell you from experience; it's a lot more fun when you've got somebody special to share it with! I wish you all at the luck in the world…and I wouldn't have kids this week, but if you still feel the same way this time next year…just saying…

Alright, now it’s your turn.  Tell us your long lost love story or whatever kind of romance nonsense tale you got! Feel free to include pictures of you and your sweetheart, too.  Send us a message on Facebook or email us at American Country Countdown.
