Summertime Recipes: Grapefruit Basil Sangria

Kickin’ It with Kix co-host Donna Britt shares her yummy Grapefruit Basil Sangria mix this week.  If you give it a try, let us know what you think because you all know we love hearing from our listeners.

 

 

Grapefruit Basil Sangria

5 grapefruits, juiced
4 oranges, juiced
1 regular size bottle of Reisling (or white wine of your choice)
1 big bottle of San Pellegrino sparkling water
½ cup maple syrup
3 Tablespoons sugar
¼ cup triple sec
¼ cup brandy
¾ ounce chopped fresh basil

Mix fruit juice, wine & water together. 

Mix syrup, sugar, triple sec, brandy and basil in another container then pour in with other liquid.  Stir in basil. Let chill for six hours. Strain. Serve.
