Recipe: Chicken Burgers

This week, listener De-anne Tasker shares her Chicken Burger recipe. De-anne says that she first started making these while she was in high school. Although she lost the original recipe she used, De-anne was able to resurrect the dish through a little trial and error through the years. Check it out below!

Chicken Burgers/Patties (like Rissoles)

1 carrot grated.
1 cup grated cheese.
4 slices of bread, broken up.
4 eggs
1 onion, chopped up.
1 tps flour (to help bind mixture)
2 cups or more of cooked chicken broken up small (you can add more chicken if you want)

Mix all together in a mixing bowl. Add seasoning to mixture, such as salt and pepper or all purpose seasoning.

Take mixture and make into pattie/rissole sizes and cook in fry-pan till browned on both sides.

Serve with salad or veggies or on a bread roll with salad and mayo. The dish is also good with a cheese sauce on top.
