Dear Kix,
My boyfriend Shaun and I have been together for a little over two years. Our relationship started thanks to a happy accident that involved our mutual friend whose name is also Katie. She was spending the night at my house when her phone died and she borrowed mine to talk to Shaun. Well, he then had two numbers under the name Katie in his phone, and a few days later I got a text from him thinking that I was the other Katie. After we sorted out the misunderstanding, we stayed in touch!
But not long after, he went through a difficult time in his life and I was the one person that stuck by his side… that's when he said he was in love with me and felt like we were meant to be together forever!
I didn’t want to ruin our great friendship, so it took me a good three months before I finally agreed to go out with him…and I don't regret it one bit. We've been through many ups and downs but at the end of every day we are stronger and closer than before. He is my rock and I am his. We love each other more than words can describe and we plan on getting married after I finish college.
