Dear Kix,
My story is about long lost love. I met my better half 13 years ago while we were in high school. We dated for a short period of time but would eventually go our separate ways…both marrying other people.
We ran into each other fewer times than I can count, over the next 13 years, but I thought about him on occasion and would even Google his name to see if I could find him. He teases me now that I was stalking him.
Anyway, in August 2013, I found him on Facebook and sent him a message just to say hi. My marriage was ending and he was a great listener…and as it turned out, his marriage hadn’t lasted either.
This got us thinking. Were we always the right person for one another and we hadn’t gotten it right the first time around? It seemed like maybe we were on to something…
Needless to say, we struck up a relationship and 13 years later, he’s officially taught me there is someone out there that can love me the way I deserve!
We are now starting a life of our own with a baby due in October and we picked up exactly where we left off 13 years ago. I love him with all of my heart and he is THE man I've been looking for all of my life.
