California girl Leah Turner's winding road to Nashville and a career in country music is quite the interesting journey. Leah grew up in a rodeo family in Morongo Valley, and by the time she was six years old, Leah was beginning to write songs. That natural inclination led to a crucial encounter with Kenny Loggins who encouraged her to pack her bags and head to Music City.
After making her radio debut with her first single "Take the Keys" and the release of her self-titled EP (in stores now), Leah is on her way to building her career. Oh, and did we mention that this summer she hits the road with Brad Paisley? Not a bad way for a spunky rodeo girl to begin her music career…
