Dear Kix,
I met my love when I was home on leave from the military to help my parents move. The moment we met, there was an instant connection but neither of us could say a word, and sadly, a few days later, I had to fly back to the military base.
So, it was almost six months until we saw each other again, but when I was at home on leave for the holidays, we became almost attached at the hip. We both knew that first day on the porch that we had found our true love… even though we were too nervous to talk.
I went back to base two days after Christmas and on New Years Eve I called and proposed over the phone. She said yes and we got married on June 6, 1981. Today, we are more in love now than we were then.

So, you guys have been married 33 years – I only know that because Barbara and I were also married in '81. I think it was a good vintage!
