Dear Kix,
I wanted to share my story on how my boyfriend of 10 months and I got together. Some may say we did it all wrong but we fell in love and that's all that matters.
I met him back in 2011 at a quarry we swim at with the kids in our town. He wound up taking my favorite pair of sunglasses and jumping into the quarry and lost them. After that, we didn't talk for almost 2 years, but then we reconnected on Facebook.
We both were in unhappy relationships but soon realized we were meant to be together… Unfortunately, we realized that while we were still with the other people. So, we had to end those relationships, but we finally began dating on July 22nd of 2013.
He is so much more than a boyfriend… I'm so happy and hope to spend the rest of my life with him. I wouldn't trade our love or how we finally got together for anything.
Also, he’s currently going through a process to become a United States Marine and I am so very proud of him.
