Fans of Jason Aldean's number one "Dirt Road Anthem" and Brantley Gilbert's chart-topper "Country Must Be Country Wide" might want to take notice. Check out the man who co-penned those two big hits – Colt Ford. Georgia-born and bred, Colt combines country with a hip-hop groove to create a unique sound that has earned him a fervent fan base. And, those fans include many of the artists you hear on ACC and Kickin' It with Kix each and every week.
With his latest project Thanks For Listening, Colt teams up with the likes of Keith Urban, Chase Rice, Lee Brice, Justin Moore, Jerrod Niemann and Randy Houser. Colt says, "This record is a tribute to my fans. I can’t thank them enough for coming out to all the shows, keeping in touch on social media, and generally being supportive of my career. I’m very proud of this album, and so glad to have had many of my friends included on the recording as well.” In addition to releasing his new album, Colt is currently on the road as part of Toby Keith's Shut Up and Hold On Tour this summer.
