This week’s story is from Diane who sent us an email…
Dear Kix,
When I first heard Luke Bryan’s song “Roller Coaster,” it struck a chord because it reminds me of my love story!
Right after graduating from college, I went to spend a week with some friends at the shore. I met my now husband on a Thursday and he asked me to marry him later that night. I just laughed it off…
The next day he took me out to dinner and asked me again. I panicked and laughed and said, “I don’t think so!” We spent my last day together all day at the beach, but I went back home on Sunday.
On Tuesday, I received a dozen red roses and by that Friday, after a seven hour drive, he was at parents' doorstep and took me back to the beach for another week!
He asked me to marry him again, and this time I caved! I said, "Yes,” after only knowing each other for two weeks!
We were married that coming January which was 33 years ago!

Wow, this guy knew you ten minutes and wanted to marry you then wore you down for a couple of weeks and you said, "Okay"… And then, 33 years later, he’s saying, "I told you so!"
I wouldn’t really advise this short term dating process, but hey, I’m not Dr. Phil!!! Good for you, Diane and husband – Is this really true???
