Dear Kix,
Seven years ago, I was a lonely and sad widower. I had never imagined that I would be single again and found it even less likely that I could find that kind of love again.
But, that all changed with an email from Susie and then a phone call that lasted until 3 AM. We met for dinner the next night and it was amazing! It felt as if we knew each other already. We even had an "Are You Gonna Kiss Me or Not?” moment later on in her kitchen, but the part I remember most was just gazing at this beautiful woman’s face as we talked, almost all night.
Susie showed me how to love and live again! She made life fun once more. She honors my first wife and even sometimes goes to her grave to talk to her if I’ve pushed her to her limits.
Somehow, she believes she was lucky to find me. But, it’s me who was the lucky one. I am not sure how I could find such a great love the second time around or how I can possibly deserve it. I like to think that a special angel, who couldn't be here anymore, helped us find one another. I can tell you that I am truly thankful for her love and for the privilege of getting to love her back.

What a cool letter, Jesse! Trying to find love again after you lose someone like that has no rules, I’m sure. I’m glad it’s worked out for you, and I appreciate you sharing this with us. I’m sure that’s got to be inspiring for some folks out there who might be going through the very same thing.
