Dear Kix,
My name is Danny. I am 11 years old and live in Ossining, NY. My family loves country music and we listen to your show every Sunday.
I’d like to ask you a question. Can you tell me how you first got into doing radio shows? Did you know you wanted to do radio, or did it happen more by accident?

Danny, I got this job totally by accident…
It was about seven years ago when the folks that started this show came to me and asked if I’d be interested in hosting. I was just crazy enough to think I’d be any good at it, and I had always been a fan of countdowns and thought it might be fun to share some of what I’d experienced touring and making music.
I never dreamed I would still be sitting here all these years later, but listeners like you really make it fun for me. I love hearing your feedback and catching up on what’s hot in country music every week.
