Dear Kix,
My hero has always been my mom!
My mom was recently diagnosed with lung cancer. Sadly, she’s dealt with and battled on-going health issues for most of her life. But, despite her daily challenges, she has managed to keep going. She has taught me what it is to be a fighter.
I am so thankful to have her in my life. Without her, I wouldn’t be who I am today. She has shown me how to love and how to be a good mom to my own three boys. She taught me the importance of providing guidance, along with unconditional love and support all of the time…free from judgment.
I believe God gives us gifts and I’m so grateful He gave me my mom. Today and everyday, my mom will always be my hero.

It’s interesting how the person who needs a hero sometimes becomes a hero for us.
Sometimes when we feel like life is tough, it seems like there’s always someone who can show us that things are not that tough after all.
I’m sure your mom has inspired others and we’ll be pulling for your mom!
