Brantley Gilbert wrote “My Kinda Party.” He says that he was thinking about the parties he used to have with his buddies growing up in Georgia. They typically involved a wide-open field, a big ole bonfire, and beautiful girls, so he wanted to write a tune that captured those moments and felt like home.
When Jason Aldean heard this one, he said that it felt like it was custom made for him, and he released it as a single in the fall of 2010…
