This week, we take a look at Carrie Underwood’s “Undo It:”
Songwriters Kara DioGuardi, Martin Frederiksen, and Luke Laird got together to write with Carrie. And, the idea for this song happened accidentally. The guys were playing something bluesy on their guitars, and Carrie started going, ‘Na na na na na.” Then, they asked, “What if that was the hook?” And, before they knew it, they had “Un un un un undo it.”
Carrie released the song in the spring of 2010 as the third single off her Play On album, and it eventually became her tenth number one hit!
