This week, Hallie sent us an email about her hero… She writes:
Dear Kix,
I’d like to nominate my mom Sharon Cornell. She is WONDERFUL!!! My younger sister passed away last January, and now my mom and dad are raising her three young children.
Mom is 62, and aside from my sisters’ kids, she also takes care of anyone who needs help, from my ten year-old twins to the elderly neighbors in our complex. She was also the only caregiver for my grandmother…. ALL of this while suffering from rheumatoid arthritis.
There isn’t anyone in this world who is more of a hero to this family than my mom, Sharon! We don’t know what we would do without you!

Wow! Hallie, your mom certainly is a hero, and boy, this is the weekend to celebrate her on Mother’s Day. Sharon, you definitely have set the bar!
