When it came time to record his eighth studio album, Dierks Bentley was in search of just the right theme and sound. The answer came with “Black” and then everything fell into place. The result is an album which explores the always-evolving journey of love. Although that sounds pretty heavy, there’s a good dose of fun on the project as evident with its debut single “Somewhere on a Beach.”
Recently, Dierks stopped by our studio for a visit. He tells Kix about making his album Black and exploring new ways to write. Plus, he shares an update on his son Knox.
