Katie emailed us about her heroes… She writes:
Dear Kix,
I would like to nominate every one of the firefighters who’ve worked tirelessly in the city of Fort McMurray, Alberta, Canada. The wildfire there had been burning for weeks and spread and destroyed everything in its path.
Firefighters from all over the country and the world flew in to help! And, each and every one of these brave men and women are heroes! They more than deserve recognition and our sincere thanks for all that they do.

Thanks for this, Katie. You know, I’ve gotten a lot of stories of those men and women getting surrounded by fire – it’s very dangerous work, and you know what? We appreciated all of you guys and gals! Please be careful out there!
