This week, we have a very special recognition because it comes from a young lady named Kaydence whose mom is writing on her behalf. It goes like this:

Dear Kix,

My name is Kaydence. I am six years old. I have cerebral palsy and cannot walk or talk. My mommy works a lot, so my grandma takes care of me. Her name is Brenda, and she is my hero.

Lately, I’ve seen my grandma very tired and in pain because she has to pick me up, move me, bathe me and feed me. I just wish I could tell her just how much I appreciate her.

Without my grandma, I don’t know what we’d do! I don’t think she knows she’s my hero, so Kix, can you please help my mommy and I tell my grandma just how cool she is?

Thanks so much,

Kaydence

Kix’s Response:

Yes, Kaydence, I can certainly do that. Grandmamma’s are very special. And, Grandma, I bet there’s nothing in this world that means more to you than little Kaydence. She sounds very special. Thanks so much for taking such good care of her.
