This week’s song is a remake of a hit that Bob Dylan and Ketch Secor of Old Crow Medicine Show wrote. Darius Rucker had gone to his daughter Cary’s high school talent show. When he heard the school band play the Old Crow version of this next song, he turned to his wife and said “I’ve got to record this! This is awesome!” He enlisted the members of Lady Antebellum to sing backgrounds.
And, it would become his sixth #1 and go on to win the Grammy for Best Country Solo performance…
