Multi-instrumentalist Hunter Hayes is a self-proclaimed music “geek.” The devotion Hunter has to his craft and career is undeniable. Whether it’s logging time in the recording studio or perfecting his live show, Hunter takes the time to strive for new and innovative ways to demonstrate his huge passion for music.
Along the way, Hunter has collected hits like “Wanted” and “I Want Crazy,” toured the world and was named 2012 CMA New Artist of the Year. He even broke the Guinness Book of World Records’ mark for most concerts in a 24-hour period. Pretty cool, huh?
In the fall of 2015, Hunter stopped by to catch up with Kix in studio. During the visit, Hunter described what it’s like playing shows overseas and reflected on just how he broke that world record. Plus, Hunter and Kix discussed their Louisiana roots and more.
