This week’s song was written by Corey Crowder, Josh Hoge, and Chris Young. It was inspired by Corey’s relationship with his wife.
He said that he was thinking about how they have the same group of friends and go to the same places, and he wondered what would happen if they broke up. Who would hang out with which friends? Well, the guys loved the idea.
They talked about making it a duet, and when they heard Cassadee Pope, it all came together. The song would hit #1 back in May of this year.
