Kix TV: Josh Turner

When you hear Josh Turner’s voice, it’s unmistakable. He definitely has a trademark sound that country fans love. And, Josh has the hits to back it up – from the beloved “Long Black Train” to his multi-week number one hit “Why Don’t We Just Dance.”

Josh is also known as an artist who stays true to himself. He’s not one to chase musical trends and he has a steadfast devotion to his family and his Christian faith. That integrity is something to be proud of, and it’s one of the many reasons why Josh’s fans love him.

In this vintage edition of Kix TV, we take a look back at Josh’s 2014 visit with Kix. At the time, he had released the song “Lay Low,” as well as a book entitled Man Stuff: Thoughts on Faith, Family and Fatherhood. In this conversation, Josh discusses writing the book, along with the challenges of evolving as an artist. Plus, Josh treated us to a performance of “Everything is Fine,” the title track to his third album.
