Brantley Gilbert’s passion for music is a given, but he also has a huge heart for our military, from veterans to wounded warriors. The Georgia native has visited troops serving overseas, as well as supported organizations like the Wounded Warrior Project, Disabled American Veterans and more.
And, Brantley’s contributions are not just lip-service or donations, it includes real, private conversations with soldiers suffering from PSTD. Its times where troops need a friendly ear to listen to what they’ve gone through. Its moments like that which lead a veteran to present Brantley with the Purple Heart medal he received during his service to our country.
During part two of his visit with Kix, Brantley shares some of the stories behind those moments and reveals why working with our veterans and wounded warriors is so important to him. Plus, Brantley talks about walking the fine line of sharing his life with the public in this second half of Brantley Gilbert’s visit to Kix TV:
