Crystal Gayle Posts New Twitter Update on Loretta Lynn Following Stroke

As NCD reported last week, Loretta Lynn suffered a stroke on May 4 at her Tennessee home.

The update on Loretta’s website on May 5 stated, in part, that Loretta “is currently under medical care and is responsive and expected to make a full recovery.”

Loretta’s sister, Crystal Gayle, also reached out to fans on social media on May 5 by tweeting: “Many of you have heard that my sister, Loretta Lynn, had a stroke. Our family appreciates all your love, prayers and support. We hope for a speedy recovery!”

While updates on Loretta have been few and far between since last week, Crystal made a second Twitter post today (May 10), thanking fans for their prayers as well showering praise on Loretta’s “wonderful doctors and nurses.”

NCD will continue to keep you updated on Loretta’s condition.
