Kix TV: Chris Stapleton (2017)

Since his initial in studio visit with Kix back in April 2015, things have changed quite a bit in Chris Stapleton’s world. Chris is no longer Nashville’s best kept secret.

After his memorable performance with Justin Timberlake and making history by winning Album, Male Vocalist, and New Artist of the Year at the 49th Annual CMA Awards, Chris’ career broke wide open. As a result, his album Traveller became the best-selling country album of 2016 and Chris earned multiple awards from the Grammys and the ACMs. Plus, Chris saw “Nobody to Blame” become a Top 10 hit, while the follow-up single “Parachute” peaked in the Top 20. Not bad, huh?

Recently, Chris returned to our studio to talk about how his career has changed and his new album From A Room: Volume 1. Plus, Chris treats us to a tune from that project, a cover of Willie Nelson’s “Last Thing I Needed, First Thing This Morning.”
