Hey Kix,
My name is Cheryl Jones from a small town in the state of New York. I’d like to nominate my brother Matthew Jones for Hero of the Week.
My brother is firefighter in the Air Guard. He served in the Air Force for six years. And, he is also an EMT. We’re both volunteer firefighters for our local fire department.
My brother has made a huge impact on my firefighting and EMT career. I have MS and when I did firefighter boot camp, my brother had my back to make sure I knew what I needed to make it through. I beat the odds because of my brother’s help and support.
I am so proud that I have him for a brother even though there are days I would love to trade him… I love you, Matthew!!!
Thanks for reading my email…. it’s hard to put into words what my brother has done for me… and for our country!
