This week, we received an anonymous letter from Nebraska. It says:
Dear Kix,
In my town (Falls City, Nebraska), we have a volunteer ambulance squad that covers nearly two-thirds of Richardson County, responding across the state line down into Kansas.
There are two new members in the squad who graduated from high school in May of 2017 and were members of the squad before graduation. These two boys responded to a fatal car accident east of Falls City in which the victim was a young teenage boy that they had been friends with their entire lives
The job is daunting, but this team enjoys helping their community, no matter what it takes.
The entire community of Falls City and the surrounding area is very thankful for their service and cannot express that enough. They are our heroes!

Kix’s Response:
Wow! That’s a strong letter. Man, I can’t imagine what doctors, and especially ambulance drivers who have to be on the scene so early after those accidents, have go through, so to all you public service folks out there, as always, from everybody here at ACC, thank you so much.
