Amber, out of Monroe, Tennessee, writes in to nominate her father Ricky Kimbel. She writes:

Dear Kix,

My dad, Ricky, is a preacher. For over 25 years, I have watched him give to everyone and anyone he comes in contact with. Whether it’s a family who is unable to pay their electric bill, clothing for children or presents for families who have no money at Christmas time, my dad is always there to help.

He has the biggest heart and would give the shirt off his back to a complete stranger. He is not only my hero but a hero to the entire community.

Thanks,
Amber

Kix’s Response:

Well, Amber, it sounds like your father pretty much embodies the word the hero, acting selflessly when it comes to the community he serves as a preacher. I appreciate you writing in, and please tell your dad thanks. The world needs more men like him.
