The title of Justin Moore’s latest single can be deceiving. But, “Kinda Don’t Care” isn’t about being uninterested or careless; it’s more about letting go of worry, being a little more laid back and that’s an attitude that definitely fits Justin. And, it’s a concept he got a little more acquainted with during the creation of his fourth album.
During the recording process, Justin found himself getting a little nervous about the fact that it had been awhile since he had released new music. Plus, Justin attempted that difficult balance of trying new things without alienating his core fans. After a pep talk from his producer, those worries went way. And, boy, those risks have paid off. The first two singles – “You Look Like I Need a Drink” and “Somebody Else Will” – ended up becoming Justin’s fifth and sixth number ones.
In this visit with Kix, Justin reflects on the early days of his career and discusses the evolution of country music. And, how did moving away from Nashville impact his career and personal life? Justin answers that question and more in this visit to Kix TV.
