Throughout the week, our ACC Team searches through emails and news articles looking for someone who deserves to be the Kidde Hero of the Week…

This week, Tammy Jo Dawson, out of Branson, Missouri, wrote in to nominate James Craigmyle of the Greene County Sheriff’s Department.

James is retired from the military, where he was a Corporal in the Army, but now, he is a deputy with the police department. And, in fact, he heads up the K-9 Unit with his dog Lor.

He always goes above and beyond when it comes to the community. He’s been known to hand out security cameras to folks who need some extra peace of mind but may not be able to afford one. He also goes to the school to check on the kids. And, if a child is sitting alone, you’ll find James pulling up a chair to keep them company. He is a father and husband but gives so much of his time, freely, to so many.

Kix’s Response:

Well, James Craigmyle, your community and our ACC team would like to recognize you as this week’s Kidde Hero! Nice job! And, what a way to set an example of caring for those around you!
