When it came time to launch a new album, Jason Aldean wanted to kick it off with a song like the ones he made his name on – something high-octane and in your face! The result is “We Back,” and it definitely lives up to his vision… so much so that CBS picked the song to open their SEC college football coverage this season. And, once Jason’s album 9 was released, it debuted at number one on Billboard‘s Top Country Albums chart. Not a bad way to get this project rolling, huh?
This weekend is a big one for Jason as he returns to Las Vegas for a three-night run of shows titled Jason Aldean: Ride All Night Vegas. This marks his first shows there since the tragic events that took place two years ago at the Route 91 Harvest Festival. Making sure the timing of these shows were right was a delicate decision for Jason and that’s where we pick up in this new edition of Kix TV, filmed prior to Thanksgiving. Jason and Kix also discuss Jason’s new restaurant E3 Chophouse, college football, bowling, and planning a tour around moving the family into a new home.
Jason Aldean’s latest album 9, featuring “We Back,” is available now. And, look for him to kick off his 2020 We Back Tour with special guests Morgan Wallen, Riley Green, and Dee Jay Silver in January.
