Walker Hayes leads the list of country finalists for the 2022 Billboard Music Awards with six nods. In addition to the love he received in the country categories, Walker is up for Top Song Sales Artist, as well as Top Selling Song and Top Viral Song both for “Fancy Like.” Check out the full list of finalists in the country categories below.
Walker is not the only country artist receiving love outside the genre. Carrie Underwood’s My Savior lands her in the Top Christian Artist and Top Christian Album categories. Morgan Wallen’s record-breaking Dangerous: The Double Album is a Top Billboard 200 Album finalist. He is set for a performance slot during this year’s show. Plus, Elle King and Miranda Lambert earn recognition for “Drunk (And I Don’t Wanna Go Home)” in the Top Rock Song category. Look for the pair to perform their chart-topping duet. Additionally, Top Country Duo/Group finalist Dan + Shay is scheduled to perform.
The 2022 Billboard Music Awards air live on Sunday, May 15, at 8/7c on NBC. For more, including finalists in other genres, visit BillboardMusicAwards.com.
