Performers and Presenters Announced for the 56th Annual CMA Awards

The slate of performances and presenting lineup has been revealed for the 56th Annual CMA Awards. The show will open by honoring the late Loretta Lynn with a star-packed tribute from Reba McEntire, Miranda Lambert, and Carrie Underwood. Among her many notable career accomplishments, the music legend was the first woman to win CMA Entertainer of the Year (1972), and she was elected to the Country Music Hall of Fame during the 1988 broadcast of the CMA Awards. Another special moment will be the salute to Alan Jackson, recipient of the 2022 CMA Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award. Dierks Bentley, Jon Pardi, Carrie Underwood, and Lainey Wilson will honor the Country Music Hall of Fame member. With the recent passing of Jerry Lee Lewis, Elle King will be joined by rock duo The Black Keys for what is sure to be an amped up performance of “Great Balls Of Fire.”

Look for Brothers Osborne and The War & Treaty to serve up the first taste of Stoned Cold Country, a country compilation of songs from the catalog of the Rolling Stones which is set to be released in 2023. And, Kentucky natives Chris Stapleton and Patty Loveless will recreate a special moment from the recent Kentucky Rising benefit concert with their performance of “You’ll Never Leave Harlan Alive.”

Presenters for this year’s CMA Awards hail from the worlds of sports, acting, home renovation, and, of course, country music. The list includes Mookie Betts (Two-time World Series champion, MVP, and member of the Los Angeles Dodgers), BRELAND, Jessica Chastain (Academy Award-winning actress and star of the upcoming George & Tammy limited series), Sarah Drew (actress), Cole Hauser (actor, Yellowstone), Tyler Hubbard, Wynonna Judd, Lady A, Rex Linn (actor – Young Sheldon, Big Sky), Little Big Town, Parker McCollum, Reba McEntire, Ben and Erin Napier (stars of HGTV’s Home Town), Jeannie Seely, Michael Shannon (Academy Award-nominated actor and star of the upcoming George & Tammy limited series), and Lainey Wilson.

The 56th Annual CMA Awards, hosted by Luke Bryan and Peyton Manning, will broadcast live from Nashville on Wednesday, November 9th at 8/7c on ABC.
