Throughout the week, our ACC Team searches through emails and news articles looking for someone who deserves to be the Hero of the Week… Find out how you can nominate a Hero of the Week at the bottom of the page.
Chad Sorrow sent us a Facebook message about Thanks For Service.
This non-profit focuses on supporting emergency first responders, active military, and the veteran community and their families. They provide financial aid for mental health care and spiritual care along with support and training.
Part of TFS is the Hearts of Heroes project. Chad hears the stories of individuals and turns those stories into songs. These songs help them in their healing journey.

Kix’s Response:
Well, it sounds like a great thing you all are doing… I know there are several organizations that work with the military turning their trauma into a song to help them heal from their experience.
So, this week, I’m happy to recognize the folks at Thanks For Service as our ACC Heroes.
