This week, we’re going to the dogs… in a good way! Bo, an 18-month-old bloodhound, has been saving lives, reuniting families, and solving crimes as a dedicated K-9 officer through a police department in North Carolina. He recently competed in the American Humane Hero Dog Awards, going up against hundreds of dogs from across the United States. While there, Bo was recognized for his outstanding service alongside his handler Sgt. David Rowland of the Gastonia Police Department.
Bo’s incredible tracking abilities have already helped locate a patient with dementia and a young child with autism. He has tirelessly covered miles in harsh weather to find missing individuals, proving his dedication to the community every day.
