Throughout the week, our ACC Team searches through emails and news articles looking for someone who deserves to be the Kidde Hero of the Week…

This week, we’d like to honor a local man from Franklin, Tennessee… just down the road from us in Nashville.

Three years ago, Brad Lewis lost his daughter and grandson in a car accident. And, to help with his grief, he started making wooden chests that said “Toys” on them. Last year, he made 12 toy boxes, and he asked the local police station in Franklin if they would display them and have people fill them up as way to give back to the community and honor his daughter and his grandson.

Well, those boxes were filled to the brim, and this year, the police chief said that once again something positive and special has come out of a tragedy.

So, Brad Lewis…you are our Kidde Hero of the Week!
