In Spring 2021, Kenny Chesney released the fourth single from his Here and Now album – “Knowing You.” When he first heard the song, Kenny said that it “knocked him out.” He felt it was in the vein of a classic country song, the kind that we just aren’t hearing much of anymore.
Lyrically, “Knowing You” tells the story of someone leaving your life, maybe through a breakup or moving away or even someone who has passed away. Kenny said that the song’s message comes from a positive place, gratitude for having had that person in your life.
“Knowing You” peaked just shy of the top of the ACC Chart in December 2021.
