This week’s Hero nomination comes from Kate who writes…
Dear Kix,

I would like to nominate John Wilding of the Scranton Police Department in Pennsylvania.

John was a 29 year-old husband and the father of two children.  Sadly, in the early hours of Saturday, July 11th, he was in pursuit of three felony suspects and tragically passed away from injuries suffered in the line of duty.

John loved his work and protecting his community and had a passion like none other for his job and his family. John will be extremely missed and it is a huge loss for the police force and our community.

He’s a true hero in our eyes!

Thanks, Kix.

Signed,

Kate

Kix’s Response:

Thank you, Kate, and condolences to John’s family. These men and women get up and do it for us everyday – don’t forget to say thanks if you get the chance.
