There is nobody quite like Bocephus. From his iconic lineage to his own impressive 50-plus year career, Hank Williams Jr.’s presence looms large in country music as one of its great characters and talents. Many of today’s chart-topping hit-makers, including the likes of Eric Church and Justin Moore, cite Hank Jr. as a primary influence. And, you would be hard-pressed to find a country fan who doesn’t know every word to “Family Tradition.”
Hank Jr. released his latest album It’s About Time in January of this year, but that previous fall, Bocephus came by to sit back, smoke a cigar and visit with Kix. He was fresh off a performance with Eric Church opening the 49th Annual CMA Awards the night before. And, Hank Jr. was eager to talk about two of his biggest passions – music and hunting.
