This week’s story is from Miranda in Texas who writes…
Hey Kix,
When I was 12 years old, which was 8 and a half years ago, I met my fiancé, Tim. We had the same best friend, and I thought Tim was cute, so I had my best friend Garret introduce us. We were only kids, so we dated for just about a week and stayed friends…but we didn't talk much or see each other outside of school until about 2010.
Once we were both out of school, a few of my friends and I started hanging out with Tim and a few of his friends. We flirted…a lot, but on the night of December 21, 2010, we had our first kiss! And that was the moment we knew we were meant to be!
He was supposed to leave a week later to finish college and join the army, but instead he decided to stay because apparently, he has loved me since the day we met. He asked me to marry him on November 8, 2011, and now we have a beautiful 4 month old daughter and we're the happiest little family in the world!
I love this man with all I have, and I couldn't be happier to know that he loves me back just as much. He's given me all a girl could hope for. He's my soul mate and my life. He makes my world go round and not to mention he gave me our daughter, who is the biggest blessing of all!
