Dear Kix,
Forty years ago I was going through a divorce around Christmas time. A co-worker of mine told me she had a good friend she wanted me to go out with. So, I took her up on it, mainly because I was so sad during the holidays.
On January 5th, I went out on a blind date with this friend of hers and had a wonderful time! My divorce was final on January 14th and you’re not gonna believe this, but me and the blind date guy were married four days later on January 18th!!!
And, we’ll be sharing our 40th anniversary this coming January – three children and eight grandchildren later! It was truly love at first sight.

Well, dang, Renee! Let me get this straight…so, you met on January 5th, your divorce was final on the 14th and you got married on the 18th? Well, what took ya so long!!! 40 years together? It's hard to argue with that – I love it!!!
