This week’s story is from Kelsey in Nebraska who writes…
Dear Kix,
I met this boy when I was 5 years old and I told my family that one day he would be mine.
When 2013 came along, I messaged him on Facebook and told him I wanted to hang out! He was my dream guy… a real-life good ol' country farm boy! So, my best friend took me to meet up with him, and the first thing he said to me was "Wanna go for a ride on my big green tractor?" And, of course, I did! So, I sat right next to him, he put his arm around my shoulder and we talked about farm life and love…all while we were fertilizing the crops!
Well, four months into hanging out, he took me to meet his parents and the day after, he asked me out!!! My dream came true! We are now 11 months into our relationship, and he gave me a promise ring and said, "One day, I'm going to marry you."
Kix, I've never been so in love and I thank God for my guy every day. I’m happy to say I'm more than blessed!

I love the fact that you guys worked the fields together for a few months before he asked you out!!! Now, that’s country! "Yeah, come on back tomorrow and I’ll check your combine skills.
