This week, Thalia Korte from Tucson, Arizona, wrote in to nominate both of her brothers-in-law: Andy Ruboyianes and Ryan Hawkins. She writes:
These two guys have been the older brothers that every little girl dreams of. My dad was never in the picture and these two stepped up to fill in that void.
In high school, I was part of an organization that was hosting a father-daughter dance. I was the only one who didn’t have a father. I was about to opt out and then Andy and Ryan both asked to be my escort. They sat through numerous dance classes and dress rehearsals just to make me smile.
They have lifted me up from my lowest point and have been a part of some of my favorite memories, and I can’t wait for the day that they both walk me down the aisle.
