After 14 years full of chart-topping hits, successful tours and numerous awards, Rascal Flatts take on a new sound for their ninth studio album Rewind, in stores now. Spearheaded by the hit title track, Rewind, Gary LeVox, Jay DeMarcus and Joe Don Rooney made a conscious effort to expand their musical boundaries while still staying true to the core of who they are as a group. Jay explains, "Music has changed so much in the last few years and in order to stay relevant you have to change with it, but we also had to be true to ourselves. Rewind is a combination of staying with what people know and love, the familiar Flatts, but also bridging the musical gap into today’s country music and pushing the envelope a little bit. There is a delicate balance and I think we’ve done a pretty good job."
Along with the release of their new album Rewind, the guys will hit the road on their Rewind Tour 2014 with special guest Sheryl Crow and opener Gloriana. The tour launches on Friday, May 16th in St. Louis and is sure to be a must-see, hot ticket for country fans.
