Here’s a story I just had to share because this is proof there’s someone for everyone. So, does the name Joey Chestnut ring a bell?
Well, if it doesn’t and you don’t live on ESPN like me, you may not know that Joey just won his eighth world hot dog eating championship – ate 61 hot dogs in ten minutes.
And, for all you ladies out there who for whatever strange reason may not think this is sexy, right before the competition started Joey took a knee and proposed to his girlfriend Neslie Ricasa — and she’s a hot dog eating competitor, too.
But, can you imagine these two on a date?
“Yes – we’d like 50 hot dogs and some mustard…"
And then, they stare lovingly across the table at each other and start stuffing ‘em down.
The best is what goes on with pro eaters at the end of a competition… Do you know about this? Right before the buzzer, they start chipmunking – that’s when you just see how many you can get in your mouth at one time.
I know what you’re thinking – or maybe I don’t because when it comes to eating 70 hot dogs, it could be anything! But, for these two, it’s a very special kind of love affair – and I think it proves love comes in all kinds of shapes and sizes.
