Dear Kix,
My husband and I actually met through a car window. He was a Marine stationed in California in the same unit as my sister. Anyway, I flew out from New York to visit my sister and to accompany her to the Marine Corps Birthday Ball. And, that night, my now-husband saw me through the car window…and, I guess, liked what he saw. We didn’t even speak that night, but two months later, he called me! Yeah – apparently, he was so sure that he liked me that he stole my number from my sister’s phone!
Well, we started talking and then we started dating. It was long distance for a while until I moved to California with him that following June.
It was five years ago when he saw me in that car window and we have been married three and a half years and survived three cross country moves together!
