Dear Kix,
My name is Brian and my wife Kendra and I have been together for 20 years.
We first met in 1994 and right from the beginning it just felt right, like it was meant to be. We dated for six years before we were married in July of 2000 and now have a beautiful daughter named Emma.
Unfortunately, a few years into our marriage, I discovered I had kidney disease and have recently had to start dialysis. Now, I’m in need of a kidney transplant and wouldn't you know my wonderful wife is a perfect match! Kendra will be donating her kidney to me on October 7th… Like I’ve always said its always felt like it was just meant to be.
I love this woman more than she'll ever know and can't think of a better way to thank her than to share her courage and thoughtfulness with everyone listening!

Okay, we have a winner! Man, this could also be our Hero of the Week story – how good is that?!?! This life goes by in a hurry and all of us don’t get to experience something this heavy that really matters, but I am honestly moved by this one, Brian.
