Are You Gonna Kiss Me or Not? – Larry’s Story

This is where YOU tell us YOUR love stories!  You know, like how you met your honey… how you found true love after all this time… or maybe even how you finally got back together with the one that got away.  You get the idea – whatever your "happily ever after" is, we wanna hear it!!!

This week’s story is from Larry who emailed us…

Dear Kix,

Our story started back in 1968.  When I first saw my wife, Rosie, I fell in love instantly.  I was in the United States Marine Corps. Rose was a civil service employee with the Navy working as the secretary for the Commanding Officer.

One day, as she often did, she brought our mail to our office early in the morning. When she walked in, she gave me that look, and I couldn't resist any longer… So, I grabbed her and kissed her.  I knew at the time she was engaged but she was letting me know that didn't matter.  Needless to say her engagement ended a couple of months after that.  When she showed up at my apartment in Chicago, I immediately noticed her engagement ring was missing off her finger, and I knew she was the one for me.

Our first date was officially on Memorial Day weekend in 1968 and before Thanksgiving we were married.  Recently, on Nov. 23rd, we celebrated 46 years of love!  There is a lot more to the story but I just know that the kiss I gave her started it all!

You do a great service for our military!  God Bless You!!

Thanks, Kix!

Signed,
Larry

Kix’s Response:

Well, Larry, you have to be careful with the whole grab her and kiss her thing… I can only assume that came with some sort invitation in the form of a wink – don’t try that without asking, guys!

But, apparently, 46 years together doesn’t lie. Congrats – and I’m sure there IS more to the story, but this is just a four hour show!
