Singer-songwriter Michael Ray hasn’t forgotten where he came from and how he was raised. The Eustis, Florida native decided to head back home to include his family and friends when it came time to film his first music video. You’ll see a lot of those faces in the video for “Kiss You In The Morning,” a song that Michael took to the top of the chart in August 2015.
These days, Michael is enjoying his second big hit with “Think a Little Less.” The song was written by Thomas Rhett, along with songwriters Barry Dean, Jon Nite, and Jimmy Robbins. And, if you’ve happened to catch one of Thomas Rhett’s shows on his Home Team Tour, you’ve probably seen him play it live.
In this visit to Kix TV, Michael looks back on how his grandfather got him involved with music. Plus, he and Kix discuss the experience of shooting that first music video and what important lessons he’s learned touring with the likes of Brantley Gilbert and Darius Rucker.
